| Any doubt that Torii wins another one? It's too bad Koskie can't stay healthy because he deserves one at 3rd base. Blanco's numbers were too low to win one at catcher, although he deserves one for his defense. This isn't supposed to be an offensive category, but as John Olerud proved, a .300 average will win you one over Doug Mientkewicz even if you aren't as good defensively. Other then that...Rivas might deserve one at second, he can play defense. Jacque Jones won't win one in right field with Vlad in the AL now, but he probably deserves one too. Anyone else on the team that deserves one? |

| Matt LeCroy--DUH! I mean if it's not the rifle arm picking runners off the basepath, it's his amazing wheels chasing down bunts. And don't forget about the super human versatility he posseses. Seriously, first base AND catcher? Hell, they should give him THREE--one for catching, one for 1st base, and one for DH-ing. He's just simply that amazing. |

My Guess is that Ichiro wins one, Torrii wins another, the third may go to vlad(overrated defensively in my book, great arm, joke when it comes to judging the ball off the bat) next most deserving is probably either Vernon Wells(probably best centerfielder in baseball this year) or Aaron Rowand(who won't win because there are still people that believe fielding percentage actually tells you something about how good of a defensive player you really are) __________________ To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater.
